The language of poker9 January 2009 Here we are in a major poker room watching a hot $50/$100 side game from a distance. Let's get up closer and hear what the players are saying as the hand unfolds.

I just completed reading your interesting (and very humorous) piece: "Stop Minding My Business."
I would humbly submit that you are perhaps misinterpreting the intentions of some readers. Because true leadership in any field of endeavor is so rare, we, as faithful followers of your observations, literally "hinge" on every word that you write...read moreSlot Floor Dynamics Require an Expert's Touch7 January 2009

After reading these articles ("More Truth About Slots"), it reminds me of getting an answer from Casino Player magazine last September about whether to stay or stray from the machine. The answer was because of volatility I should stay...read moreShould I shoot or pass the dice?4 January 2009
Dear Frank,
I've not had much success with craps when I am the shooter. I guess I fall into the "occasionally establish a point, then quickly seven-out" category.
I look forward learning more and then practicing your dice control techniques — perhaps even attending a seminar in the future, but my question is, in the interim, what are your thoughts on my using the 5-Count system and simply passing the dice along when it is my turn to shoot? Will doing so have a negative impact on my chances of success at craps?
Thanks,
Tim

Don,
Scoblete's recent Casino City Times column about charting has me wondering.

Whenever I place the 6 and 8 and have them working on the come-out, folks tell me that's a bad bet. Why? The odds are the same of rolling the 6 or 8 on any roll, in my mind. Please advise — I win on this bet, usually try for one more and take them down.
