Lockdown Practice is Important

12 June 2021

By John Marchel
With the restrictions imposed by Covid-19, you might stuck in the house and feeling bad, watching TV, reading some, clearing the garage, and trying to be busy. How about practicing some blackjack?

Instead of counting down a single deck in 30 seconds (that is a must) start doing two decks in 60 seconds, four decks in 1 minute-45 seconds, six decks in 2 minutes-45 seconds and eight decks in 3 minutes-45 seconds.

If you can make the above times, you will keep up with any dealer in any casino. In the long run try to increase your speed and accuracy every time you practice.

Re-read some of the books you have about blackjack, video poker, sports betting, live poker, and horse racing. These are the only five games with which you can beat the casino consistently. Look on your computer for tips and advice about your game or your favorite casino.

The old saying “Practice makes perfect”; still applies today as it did long ago.

You should do a little reading, studying and practice every day to become a winner at the casino.

Remember, there is no such thing as a bad player, only an “untrained” one.

When you experience new deck(s) of playing cards introduced into the game of blackjack the player will end up with a disadvantage.
