If you gamble in a casino enough, you can expect the unusual to happen often.

Runs of red or black in roulette, strings of yo's in craps, frequent jackpots in a given slot aisle, consecutive wins or losses -- all these are par for the gambling course.

Even in a game such as coin flipping, where the chances of a win or loss are always 50/50, you will see streaks that will amaze you. If casino games didn't have such wild things happen, they wouldn't be random.

Some games have both good bets and bad bets.

Good bets at craps are Pass/Come with Odds; Don't Pass/ Don't Come with Odds. At a 20X odds game as is found in many casinos, the house edge is around one-tenth of one percent! That means you can expect to lose about a dime for every $100 you bet in this fashion in the long run.
