Scobe's Quick Tip #16:
Given a choice at roulette of betting with a trend or against a trend,
it is probably best to bet with a trend.
Why? Because there is a slight -- an extremely, extremely slight --
possibility that the reason a trend has developed is due to the physical
mechanism or the dealer's influence. If this is so, the trend will tend
to continue.

Scobe's Quick Tip #17:
If you see a player making a move you wouldn't make, don't correct him
or her.
After all, if the player follows your advice and then loses, he or she
won't understand that you were right!
This same applies to giving advice about who someone should marry.
Sometimes it is best to ignore what the other players are doing in the
interests of keeping your own sanity intact.
