If you are playing roulette, always try to play on wheels that have only one zero.

Why is a single-zero wheel better? Because it reduces the house edge from 5.26 percent to 2.70 percent. That's almost a fifty percent reduction. That means you can play twice as long for the same expectation or lose half as much if you play your normal hours.

Blackjack games where the dealer stands on soft 17 (Ace-6) are better than blackjack games where the dealer hits soft 17.

If all other rules are the same, choose a casino where the dealer stands on soft 17 and you'll be saving 20 cents for every $100 you wager. That might not seem like much but over the long haul it adds up.
