The rightside versus the darkside6 August 2009 I know the math of craps, enough to know that there isn't much of a difference in betting the pass line or the don't pass line. The casino wins about 1.4%, give or take, against both types of bettors.
The darkside (don't) players get hammered on the very first placement of their don't pass or don't come bet when they lose on the 7 and 11 (eight ways to hit the deck) and only win on the 2 and 3 (three ways to come out ahead)...read moreStrength of Racetrack Casino Industry Tough to Ignore5 August 2009 The Illinois legislature would be wise to pay heed to the viability of the nation's racetrack casino industry instead of forcing the most successful casino operations in this state to subsidize the beleaguered horse racing industry with a three percent surcharge on adjusted gross revenues.
What's more, Governor Pat Quinn should think twice before signing the hastily passed gambling expansion bill that would bring video gaming to restaurants, bars and lounges in this state and take a look at an alternative plan to create a win-win situation for both casino gambling and horse racing.

I do understand that I need to place a pass line bet, but other than that, would you recommend using the 5-Count on myself? I am not a random roller, I consider myself a great roller, and I do practice about 10 hours a week tossing the dice.

Hi Stickman,
I just read your article about Dice Pilot's system.
Why should his first bet be so large compared to what his normal bets are? Risking $6,400 then going down to $110 doesn't make sense to me.
What is your opinion?
Thank you,Joyce

Last month, National Football League owners voted to permit teams to sign licensing agreements with state-sponsored lotteries.
Franchises in other pro sports leagues, including MLB, NBA and NHL, have done similar agreements with lotteries, but this is ground breaking for the NFL.
The New England Patriots jumped on the bandwagon the day after it was signed, inking a deal with the Massachusetts State Lottery for a Patriots-themed instant ticket.
