Advice for a don't player6 June 2010
Frank,
I've been playing craps for about a year and I just started experimenting with the don'ts, but I can't seem to gather any steam with it. I end up meandering around, a little up, a little down, but I can't get the momentum that I do with the pass line...read more![]() Where Are the Five Dollar Tables?5 June 2010 One of the questions/complaint I always hear is, "Why are table limits so high? Why don't casinos have more tables for the five dollar player?"
Unfortunately it is a matter supply and demand. Areas with only one or two casinos and larger gaming destinations on a weekend all suffer from the lack of tables to accommodate the lower limit players...read moreWhy I gamble3 June 2010 In my youth I used to play with some of the greatest baseball and basketball teams in New York City; the best being Our Lady of Angels 8th grade basketball team that was undefeated in 55 games, both pre-season exhibitions and post-season tournaments...read moreSurvey Says Players and Casinos Love Slots2 June 2010 Last week the American Gaming Association released its 2010 "State of the States" survey of casino entertainment in the United States.
The report, widely regarded in the industry as the most comprehensive resource of its kind, always includes interesting statistics...read moreMining data from the AGA's State of the States report1 June 2010 The American Gaming Association has issued its annual State of the States report, and there's an intriguing little tidbit to be gleaned from casino revenue data.

Hi John,
I just read your article about when a slot machine is more likely to pay off. You are so right that it doesn't make any difference about when a person will or will not win. It is all in the luck of the pull. I've even seen people take their card out of the machine, thinking it would pay off more often...read moreRecommendations for a dice control beginner30 May 2010
Dear Frank:
Hello, my name is Alex and I am 22. I am a student of electronics engineering and I am from Chile. I saw you in the History Channel television show Breaking Vegas - Dice Dominator.
I would like to learn the techniques to develop the skill with dice, and like you are the "fathers" of this business, I ask you now, what do you recommend me to start with, if I have to buy some instructional video, or book?
I know that this isn't a easy way, please, don't think that I would like to win easy and fast money...read moreDice control and bouncy craps tables29 May 2010
Dear Frank:
I have seen the DVD (Beat Craps by Controlling the Dice!) of you and Dom throwing the dice. The table that you are using can't be the same as the tables I've used on these Louisiana riverboat casinos. If all the casinos I go to (mostly in Biloxi and Gulfport, Mississippi) have a surface like those, I don't think I'll ever have any control over my throw on those bouncy surfaces...read more![]() Table Game Etiquette28 May 2010 Playing slots and video poker can be fun, but it is a solitary adventure. Table games are exciting and they also give you the chance to interact and share the excitement with fellow players. Other than live poker, the players are competing against the house, not each other...read moreTeaching, gambling and criticism27 May 2010 You've heard this criticism before in newspapers, magazines, books, on television and radio. It goes like this:
"You teachers have it easy. You work ten months out of the year. Your work day ends around 3 o'clock. You have summers off; Christmas, winter vacation, Easter vacation, all the national holidays...read more |
