U.K. advertising policy to effect 1,000 online gaming sites

More than 1,000 online gambling firms will not be allowed to advertise in the U.K. after the 2005 Gambling Act takes effect on Sept. 1, according to a statement released last week by the U.K.'s Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Casino revenue: Casinos not raking it in as readily

An interview with Robin Jay took place, naturally, over lunch. Knowledge of how to conduct business during the noontime meal launched Jay on her second career as a writer and motivational speaker. Jay gave up a successful 18-year run as a radio and magazine advertising executive in November 2003 to self publish her book, "The Art of the Business Lunch." She hasn't looked back.
