LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Wynn Resorts Ltd. tumbled to a fourth-quarter net loss due to a nearly $100 million tax expense and falling revenues at the company's Las Vegas casinos.

![]() Card-counting iPhone application sees sale spike20 February 2009 LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Nevada gaming regulators hoped to freeze sales of a blackjack card-counting application for iPhones by telling the world the software could convert the high-tech phone into an electronic cheating device.
So much for that idea: The announcement had the opposite effect.
