Bally to provide gaming devices to Italian lottery

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Bally Technologies will provide more than 5,000 gaming devices and systems to Italy's video lottery program after announcing an additional agreement with Italian concessionaire Lottomatica Videolot Rete. Under the deal, Bally will provide the company with 800 slot machine-like devices. Player participation up at WSOP

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Player participation in the first 11 events at the World Series of Poker is up 2.5 percent over last year.Through Monday, 10,624 players signed up to play in the tournament's initial events, up slightly from 10,358 players who competed in the same 11 events a year ago.One event, a no-limit hold'em heads-up challenge, increased the buy-in from $10,000 to $25,000 and drew 128 players, half of what the event drew in 2010...read more

Macau gaming revenues hit $3 billion in May
