Top 10 Las Vegas Fourth of July events

As we welcomed the first day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere, many in the U.S. begin to turn their attention to the Fourth of July. Las Vegas will be full of celebrations, fireworks and events for all visitors. Here, we take a look at 10 events to mark on your calendar in Sin City next weekend.

10. Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa
Rouge Room at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa will host Rouge Roundup: Honky Tonk featuring DJ Lucky Lou on 4 July. The event begins at 8 p.m. and includes a mechanical bull, signature cocktails and a country EDM set by DJ Lucky Lou.

The fireworks show at the resort kick off at 9 p.m. and tickets are $35 for guests 12 years old and older and $10 for guests ages 2-11.

9. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
Dive In Movies at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will screen Top Gun: Maverick, complete with themed cocktails, curated culinary offerings and interactive elements inspired by the film on 4 July. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., with the movie starting at 8 p.m.

In addition, Chelsea Handler will take the stage at The Chelsea inside the Las Vegas Strip resort on 5 July.

8. Palms Casino Resort
Ghostbar inside Palms Casino Resort will celebrate the Fourth of July with panoramic views from the 55th floor.

Guests can watch the fireworks at 9 p.m., followed by a throwback party with resident DJ Jenna Palmer and DJ Supa James, playing hits from the ’80s, ’90s and early 2000s.

7. Resorts World Las Vegas
Resorts World Las Vegas is inviting guests to Athena at Night for cocktails and skyline views on 4 July.

The rooftop venue features an 1,800-square-foot infinity pool overlooking the Strip and offers a vantage point for fireworks.

Ayu Dayclub at Resorts World Las Vegas will also host special events over Independence Day Weekend. It will feature Carrie Keller on 4 July, a backyard BBQ party featuring Wahlburgers with Kaskade on 5 July, and a surprise guest on 6 July.

6. Rio Hotel & Casino
Rio Hotel & Casino will celebrate Fourth of July weekend with Red, White & Boots, a two-day bash in partnership with Cowboy Lifestyle Network.

On 4 July, guests can enjoy daytime pool parties with DJ sets, a country night swim with live performances by Bigg Vinny and Matt Farris, and rooftop fireworks viewing at VooDoo Lounge.

The fun continues on 5 July with poolside festivities; a country tribute concert honoring Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan and Kenny Chesney; and late-night entertainment at VooDoo Lounge.

5. Fontainebleau Las Vegas
If you are looking to catch a movie, Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the place to be.

This Fourth of July weekend at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Oasis Cinema Club will feature outdoor movies at the six-acre Oasis Pool. Doors open at 7 p.m., with showtimes starting at 8 p.m. Enjoy Finding Dory on 3 July 3, Top Gun: Maverick on 4 July and Baywatch on 5 July. Fontainebleau Rewards members receive waived entry fees.

4. The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower
The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower will light up the sky and the Strip this Independence Day with all-American flavors, cocktails and a view of Las Vegas’ fireworks.

On 4 July, The STRAT will host a Fourth of July fireworks viewing party from The STRAT Tower’s indoor and outdoor Observation Deck, beginning at 5 p.m.

Tickets are priced at $55 for adults and $35 for children and include Observation Deck admission, hot dogs and chips, party favors, face painting, a live DJ and The STRAT’s first hot dog eating contest. The kids’ competition will take place at 6 p.m., followed by the adults’ session at 7:30 p.m.

108 Drinks will be open during the celebration and will offer the Red, White & Booze Colada.

The celebration will continue all weekend, 4 July through 6 July, with holiday-inspired dining and drinking specials available at several of The STRAT’s restaurants and lounges.

3. Circa Resort & Casino
Legacy Club at Circa Resort & Casino, the 60th-floor rooftop lounge, will celebrate the Fourth of July with its annual Star-Spangled Glamour event.

Guests will have firework views, an open bar, bites and live music starting at 7 p.m.

Also, Weenies and Bikinis will return to Stadium Swim at Circa Resort & Casino at 5 p.m. next Friday, bringing back the hot dog eating contest. Invited contestants will compete to eat the most American Coney Island hot dogs in five minutes for a $2,500 cash prize. Guests can enjoy front-row access to the action, plus six pools, a 143-foot screen and a fireworks show.

2. Caesars Palace
Caesars Palace will have a fireworks show at approximately 9 p.m. on 4 July. At Gardens of the Gods, guests can buy a $150 package which includes front-row Strip fireworks, an open bar, bite options and live entertainment.

In addition, the original American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, is set to debut the first shows of her highly anticipated residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with back-to-back performances on 4 July and 5 July.

1. Plaza Hotel and Casino
The Plaza Hotel and Casino will celebrate the Fourth of July with a bigger version of its weekly Welcome to the Weekend Friday Firework Show. As in past years, it will be the only Fourth of July fireworks show in downtown Las Vegas, and it is free to view.

Staged from the top of the Plaza’s South Tower on at 9:15 p.m., the public can watch the fireworks for free from in front of the Plaza on Main Street, which will be closed to vehicular traffic for viewing the fireworks from Carson Avenue to Ogden Avenue.

Guests can also watch the fireworks from a free viewing party on the Plaza’s rooftop pool deck. Doors open for the rooftop viewing party at 7 p.m.

Also on 4 July, the Plaza will host a Buffalo wing eating contest at Carousel Bar at 6 p.m.
