The guest won the grand jackpot while playing a Dragon Link Genghis Khan slot. He wagered $50 on a $2 denomination machine to land the grand.

The guest, who wished to remain anonymous, was playing a $1 Million Dragon Link machine in the high-limit gaming lounge and had a morning worth celebrating when a $50 bet turned into a grand jackpot worth $1,892,889. 3. Circa Sports awarded Arizona sports betting license The Arizona Department of Gaming allocated an event wagering operator license to Circa Sports Arizona, paving the way for the company to launch legal sports betting in partnership with the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe. This makes Circa the sixth online operator to launch a sportsbook in Arizona with a tribal partner. With the allocation, the operator is approved to offer sports betting and event wagering in Arizona. The Department will work with the licensee on next steps for the operational launch. This brings the total number of states that Circa Sports is live in to seven, including Nevada where the operator is based in. There is no definite date for when this launch will take place, but Circa Sports Director of Operations Jeff Benson stated in a post on X that it will not be during this football season. 2. Churchill Downs unveils Kentucky Derby upgrades Earlier this week, Churchill Downs announced an update on three of its current and upcoming capital projects at Churchill Downs Racetrack that are expected to be completed in 2027 and 2028. The Victory Run project is expected to be completed ahead of the 154th Kentucky Derby in 2028. Located on the first turn of Churchill Downs between the Ford First Turn Club and the Skye Terrace, the new four-story structure will provide a modern hospitality experience with views of the finish line, including private suites, indoor and outdoor dining, and covered box seating. The Louisville track will be expanding the Homestretch Club to enhance the guest experience by creating more space for patrons, adding VIP seating areas, and enhancing food and beverage infrastructure. This expansion is expected to be completed by the 153rd Kentucky Derby in 2027. Lastly, Churchill Downs will be redeveloping the infield areas on both sides of the Winners’ Pagoda, which is the historic building in the infield near the finish line where the Kentucky Derby winners receive their trophies. The track is adding 1,400 temporary seats and will be testing a new infield cabana offering with 500 covered reserved seats along the turf course. 1. Lucas Jumalon wins WSOP Main Event Lucas Jumalon has etched his name into poker history, winning the 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event. After an extraordinary run through the fourth-largest largest Main Event field in WSOP history, the 22-year-old from Spokane, Washington, took home the $10 million first-place prize and the most prestigious championship bracelet in tournament poker after defeating Finnish poker player Lauri Saaskilahti heads-up. The final table featured Lucas Jumalon, Rami Hammoud, Jamie Shaevel, Greg Mueller, Michael Gagliano, Mario Boos, Lauri Saaskilahti, Han Feng, and Evagoras Evagorou. Jumalon entered the final table as the overwhelming chip leader with 194 million chips. The 22-year-old from Washington became the second-youngest player to win the Main Event behind Joe Cada, who took home the title in 2009. The victory capped a journey through a massive field of 9,208 participants, with every player paying the $10,000 buy-in for a chance to compete for poker's ultimate prize in one of the largest WSOP Main Events in history.
