Las Vegas Sands Corp. executives and Wall Street continue to view the company as a future earnings giant.
With approximately $17 billion in planned casino and nongaming developments in various phases of design and development in Las Vegas, Macau, Singapore and Pennsylvania, Las Vegas Sands will keep construction crews busy through 2010.
But it doesn't mean the company isn't paying attention to results at its two casinos in Las Vegas and Macau.
Las Vegas Sands said Monday it was reporting net revenues of $2.24 billion in 2006, an increase of 28.5 percent compared with $1.74 billion in 2005.

Touch of Asia in palatial Palazzo5 February 2007
LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- The $1.8 billion Palazzo has not been the average Strip construction project.
When the 3,025-room hotel-casino is completed -- executives from Las Vegas Sands Corp. have set a target date for the end of this year -- the development will include design aspects learned while building the neighboring Venetian and the company's resorts in Macau.
The Palazzo will be connected to the 4,027-room Venetian, but it will not be a mirror image.
"People are going to be surprised when they walk into this building because this property is going to be a lot more interconnected than The Venetian," Las Vegas Sands Executive Vice President Brad Stone said earlier this week during a walking tour of some of the Palazzo's under-construction features.
The Palazzo's planned 50-story hotel tower reached the 36th floor this week while the concrete-encased elevator core stood at 46 stories...read moreRebecca's Recommendations - February 2, 20072 February 2007 Home at last. Gambling stocks start '07 with January jolt1 February 2007
LAS VEGAS -- January was a good month to own stocks in the gaming industry's major companies.
Expectations of profits internationally, primarily in the Chinese gaming enclave of Macau, and investor speculation that additional gaming operators would turn to private equity financing sent the average daily stock prices of several casino operators to record levels during the month.
Las Vegas-based financial consultant Applied Analysis, which tracks the average daily stock price of six casino operators and three gambling equipment manufacturers, said its index of those companies cracked the 500-point level for the first time during the month.
Brian Gordon, a partner in Applied Analysis, said that the start of quarterly earnings reports during February could send some stock prices down as investors cash out some profits...read moreNETeller withdrawals on hold for U.S. customer1 February 2007 NETeller's American customers are out of withdrawal options and are being asked to wait patiently while the company tries to determine how to move money to the U.S.
