Nevada gaming authorities release online poker details25 August 2011 LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- State gaming authorities have released proposed regulations for Internet poker to be implemented if the federal government legalizes the activity.
The proposals, posted to the Gaming Control Board's website Wednesday, include rules for the finding of entity suitability, technology approvals, audit and record-keeping, and customer enrollment.
The proposals also spell out regulatory oversight of internal controls by the online gaming companies and establishes a disciplinary process for regulatory violations.

Massachusetts inches towards full-scale casino gaming24 August 2011 BOSTON, Massachusetts -- A long-awaited deal that could lead to full-scale casino gaming in Massachusetts may have finally been reached.
The Boston Globe reported this morning that Gov. Deval Patrick and leaders of the state’s House and Senate reached a tentative agreement to expand gaming in the state.
Under the deal, Massachusetts would have three stand-alone Las Vegas-style casinos and a fourth slot machine-only casino with up to 1,250 games.

Pinnacle misses deadline to submit A.C. hotel application23 August 2011 ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey-- Pinnacle Entertainment failed to submit a formal application with New Jersey gaming regulators to build a boutique-style hotel-casino in Atlantic City by last week's deadline, ending the Las Vegas-based company's interest in the project.
