Detroit casinos agree to deal with unions7 December 2015DETROIT, Michigan -- The contract expired October 16, 2015 but a new deal has been reached between Detroit's casinos and labor unions, the Detroit Free Press reported. A vote to ratify the contract will be taken this week, the report said. The contract is for five years and includes a signing bonus, according to the Free Press report. The major bone of contention was health care contributions and how to fund health care coverage, the report noted. |
