Michael Jackson's children in Las Vegas over weekend

26 August 2009

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- As the controversy surrounding their father's death continues to flash across TV screens nationwide, Michael Jackson's children were spotted Las Vegas this weekend.

Jackson's two sons, ages 7 and 12, and 11-year-old daughter were seen playing in the pool at the Palms on Saturday.

This was not the first time the children were at the resort: Their father lived at the Palms for about two months last year.

People.com reported that the siblings' grandmother, Katherine Jackson, was close by as the three Jackson children frolicked in the pool.

Witnesses also said a nanny and a friend also joined the Jackson four at the Palms that afternoon.

While several men have stepped forward since Jackson's June 25 death and have claimed that they are the biological fathers of the children, Katherine Jackson was recently awarded and maintains custody of the three youngsters.

Jermaine Jackson joined his mother, niece and nephews at the resort for dinner on Saturday night.

The three generations of Jackson shared a meal inside N9NE Steakhouse's private dining room, where they were joined by seven others.

While there was a man named Joe seated at the table for 12, sources say it was Maloof Companies president and Sacramento Kings co-owner Joe Maloof, not the King of Pop's controversial father, Joe Jackson.

The spotlight-loving Jackson patriarch has a home in Las Vegas but was not spotted at the Palms this weekend.
