Top Slot Reviews #28 October 2002
A further explanation of these stats and the Top 200 Slots Guide can be found in previous articles right here at http://slots.casino.com We begin with a sexy teaser--Risque Business. 1) Risque Business: (98%,3, 85%) Similar to 'Keep Your Hat On' except the player gets to choose the gender of the stripper. Ahh. technology! Three or more ATM symbols anywhere on the reels reward a quick bonus after the player selects an ATM for a random coin amount. The second screen bonus is triggered when three or more dancers land on the payline. We are now transported to a strip club with noisy patrons, disco music and a male and female dancer. The player selects three patrons who will tip the dancer and begins accumulating bonus amounts with each item of clothing removed. The goal here is to successfully get six items of clothing removed, then...wait, I can't reveal that! You will have to check this one out yourself. 2) Silver City: (98%,3, 88%) Take target practice and maybe get paid for it at the same time while playing this Wild West game. If 3 or more 'Coin' symbols appear anywhere on an active payline, the game switches to a Wild West town with 5 targets. All targets pay mystery wins but only one contains the 'Bank' symbol that takes the player to the bonus round. In the bank, you are prompted to choose a fuse on the vault that might blow the door revealing up to 100,000 coins. Hey Pardner, look out for 'Money Bag' and 'Fire' symbols for extra buckeroos along the trail. 3) Triple Double Dollars: (98%,8, 85%) The traditional 'Double', 'Triple Diamonds' and 'Red, White and Blue' combine in this dollar denomination game. The base paytable includes three winning '7' combinations along with multiplying wild symbols such as a 'Double Dollar' or 'Triple Dollar' bonus that could increase your credits up to nine times. These wild symbols also can work together multiplying the jackpot by six times and three mixed wild symbols will reward you with $1600. This one's not for the faint-hearted, however if you are a risk-taker, the payouts can be worth the gamble. 4) Triple Stars: (98%,8, 84%) This reel-spinner has a patriotic red, white and blue 'Triple Lucky 7s' theme. It consists entirely of '7' combinations plus two 'Triple Star' wild symbols that pay 2-for-1 for one wild and 10-for-one when 2 wilds land. If a wild symbol lands with a winning '7' combination, your jackpot is tripled. Two wilds and the jackpot is multiplied by 9. Three wild symbols score the top jackpot. The hit frequency is low, however you will thank your lucky stars because 5 of 8 winning combinations pay 50 or more coins without wild symbols. 5) Winning For Dummies: (98%,5, 88%) Evolved from the 'For Dummies' self-help book series, the base game is 'Blazing 7's'. Payouts range from 40 to 1,000 coins and multipliers of 2X, 5X and 20X on the fourth reel as well as instant bonus awards of 10 or 100 coins. Also, there is a re-spin symbol on the fourth reel rewarding one to five free spins when it lands with a winning combination. The game's top jackpot of 10,000 coins can only be won by wagering maximum coins, but of course even we dummies knew that. 6) Typhoon Lagoon: (98%,3, 88%) The theme is a deserted island with our main character, 'Casty' seen with an assortment of tropical reel symbols. A tropical island symbol is wild. Jackpots can also be won when combos are lined up right to left. When Casty appears on the first reel with a raft on the fifth reel, it triggers five free spins. Select one of five floating packages for credits or free games. The total number of free games can be as high as 200 resulting in huge bonus amounts and a better shot at the game's top jackpot of 5000 coins. This makes it worthwhile to 'float on over' to Casty's topical island. I'm going to swim for shore, but will be back soon to explore a 'sea of slots'. Articles in this Series
