Bonus Slots Update: Money Groove, Happy Happy Hippy, The Mummy20 February 2002
The Mummy is stirring, but no need to be scared, he just wants to play some slots. His buddy, the caveman is tossing some rocks with bonus credits 'carved in stone' and a hippie dippie hippo wants you to 'groove' with him, baby!Last, but not least, our musical entry 'Money' from the disco era rounds out the latest bonus slots update. 1) Money Groove: The 1970s disco song "Money" will keep you singing along as you throw yourself into a wealth of money and banking themes this game provides. Three number symbols trigger the primary bonus and before long you arrive at the "Vault Bonus" feature where a door opens to reveal "Benny, the Safe Deposit Box". Enter your very own secret four digit pin number on a keypad and a drawer opens revealing either a bonus amount, a key, a withdrawal slip or a deposit slip. The key reveals several bonus amounts in additional drawers that are totaled and awarded. A withdrawal slip credits a single bonus amount and a deposit slip earns you a bonus amount plus free spins with all amounts accumulated. The top bonus award is 42,500 coins that is sure to put you 'in the big bucks groove'. 2) Happy Happy Hippy: "Hippie Hippo" is the wild character and can be located among the 60's themes of peace signs, a hippie bus and psychedelic colors. Three or more "Groovy Baby" symbols results in a scatter pay whereas pulling in five bus symbols could result in a 3000 coins times the line bet payout. Lining up Hippie and two or more "Groovy Baby" symbols results in another bonus. While the center reel stays, the others are re-spun for a second payout and you are offered a Mystery Win or ten free games. You can double or receive free spins during this hap, hap, happy and very hip bonus round. 3) The Mummy: You gotta love those bonus slots where all hits are wins. Even the lowly cherry pays 2-1 compliments of the Mummy. Plus, one of my favorites is here --the "nudge" feature that is set to play when a blank space appears with a winning symbol above it. While the hits keep comin', you'll want to keep an eye out for three of the Boris Karloff Mummy characters for a top jackpot payout of 80-1. It's recommended that you play the Mummy at maximum tilt because those extra coins can 'scare' up some nice bonus wins. 4) Boulder Dash: The cave man wants to take you on a tour of his pre-historic rocks as you 'dash for the boulder cash'. You're in Double Red, White and Blue land with this game as you await the appearance of the 'Cave Man' on the third reel for a trip to the bonus round. The boulder 'unearthing' begins as you and Mr. Cave Man make your way through the grid that displays 75 to 500 bonus coin amounts. Once a bonus amount is lit up, the fire goes out, the boulders smolder and the cash is counted. Make a dash for this one and you'll be a fan of Mr. Cave Man too. Be back soon with more slots talk you can use. |
