Top 10 NFL teams worth a bet for Super Bowl LX

17 November 2025

Week 11 of the NFL season wraps up later tonight and we are really starting to get a decent idea of which teams are separating themselves from the rest of the pack. The playoff picture is beginning to take shape but there is still plenty of time for teams to make moves, both in the right direction and the potential collapse.

As teams start to make a push for playoff position, we take a look at 10 teams we think can are worth betting to win the Lombardi Trophy in February.

(All lines provided by bet365 Sportsbook & Racebook)

10. San Francisco 49ers (+3300)
Currently just on the outside, looking in, the San Francisco 49ers have been more than just bit by the injury bug this season but are still in the hunt.

Quarterback Brock Purdy is back in the lineup but backup Mac Jones did pretty well in Purdy’s absence to keep this team afloat. Any team that has a stud like Christian McCaffrey in the backfield, you really can’t count them out. With the talent he has, both in the run game and passing attack, he can flip any game in the blink of an eye.

The 49ers are favored to win their next three games against Carolina, Cleveland, and Tennessee, and if they prevail in all three it would bring their record to 10-4. If you plan to bet on San Francisco win the Super Bowl, which is being played on its home field, now is the opportune time to place that wager.

9. Seattle Seahawks (+1200)
The Seattle Seahawks were in an absolute battle yesterday with the Los Angeles Rams for the top seed in the NFC at the time and it came down to the wire despite Seattle QB Sam Darnold tossing four interceptions.

That alone says enough about the potential of this Seahawks team. If your QB gives the ball away four times against a top team in the NFL and you are still in the game on the last possession, well you can take away something positive from that knowing you can compete with the best.

Seattle’s offense really does funnel through Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the standout wideout from Ohio State. He leads the NFL in receiving yards by a wide margin and even when defenses know to key in on him, he still finds ways to get open and put up big numbers.

8. Denver Broncos (+1400)
A gutsy divisional win against the Kansas City Chiefs yesterday put the Denver Broncos atop of the AFC standings with a tiebreaker over the New England Patriots.

Last week, the team did have the unfortunate decision to place J.K. Dobbins on injured reserve as they announced he will be done for the season. A massive blow to the offense, but rookie RJ Harvey seems up to the challenge to fill those shoes the best he can. QB Bo Nix has done his part controlling the offense but the main reason for that is his offensive line has done an outstanding job keeping him upright. Pass rushers are really struggling to get around and into the backfield.

The defensive side of the ball is another major bright spot in Denver as they are third in the NFL only giving up 17.5 points per game.

7. Kansas City Chiefs (+900)
It probably will shock or annoy many fans that the Kansas City Chiefs are not longer odds to win the Super Bowl than they currently are, as they are 5-5 on the season and ninth in the AFC.

However, deep down, everyone knows by now that as the season gets later, the better Kansas City seems to become every season, especially Patrick Mahomes, who is 15-4 in his NFL playoff career, including three Super Bowls.

The Chiefs, who have played in a mind-boggling seven straight AFC Championship games, will obviously need to gain some ground in the AFC if they want to make the playoffs but if they find their way into the postseason, records are wiped away and you play one-game seasons every week.

6. Buffalo Bills (+800)
Josh Allen had a remarkable performance yesterday and if you had him on your fantasy team, lucky for you as he put up six total touchdowns, including three on the ground. While Tampa Bay was able to put up 32 points of their own, their defense simply had no answer for Allen and the Bills offense.

Buffalo is second in the AFC East and are holding a Wild Card spot currently with a 7-3 record. The duo of Allen and his running back James Cook is in the top-tier category of backfields in the NFL. Wide receiver production hasn’t been where Allen is used to but he has his reliable tight ends that make up some of that missing yardage.

When the offense is rolling, the defense really only needs a stop or two because the Bills offense seems to score at will when they are in a groove.

5. Indianapolis Colts (+900)
Having held the top AFC seed a week ago, the Indianapolis Colts slipped to the three seed during their Bye Week as both the Broncos and Patriots secured wins and passed them. Indy will have its chance to make up for that as both the Pats and Broncos have yet to go on their bye.

QB Daniel Jones has exceeded expectations by many but the offense goes through Jonathan Taylor and everyone knows it. Taylor is already over 1,100 rushing yards on the year to go along with 17 total touchdowns. That is about as unstoppable as it gets.

Rookie tight end Tyler Warren, if you can lock him in a position because he can play anywhere on offense, has really given this Colts offense another great weapon. He will line up in several different spots and has tallied 617 receiving yards, a team best.

This trio can really bring this Indy team deep into the playoffs.

4. New England Patriots (+1800)
With a new head coach in Mike Vrabel, a second-year QB in Drake Maye and Josh McDaniels returning as offensive coordinator, there were a lot of question marks surrounding this New England team in the offseason following a four-win season.

I don’t think many predicted they would have a 9-2 record with the longest active winning streak in the league, with eight victories in a row, including one on the road in Buffalo.

The 23-year-old Maye, who is now one of the favorites to win MVP, has been calm, cool, and collected in the pocket delivering very catchable balls to his receivers, including free agent signing Stefon Diggs who has become a true leader for the Patriots offense.

Rookie TreVeyon Henderson has made his name known in the last few weeks after Rhamondre Steveson went down with an injury. Henderson, a rookie from Ohio State, scored five touchdowns in the last two weeks and is giving the offense a much needed run threat.

The defense, despite struggling on opening drives this season, settles in to what offenses are doing and scheming and making things really difficult for opposing QBs.

With just one winning team (Buffalo) remaining on its schedule, the Pats have a real chance at the No. 1 seed in the AFC, which is huge since 73% of Super Bowl winners from the playoff era had a first round bye.

3. Philadelphia Eagles (+550)
The Philadelphia Eagles put on a defensive performance for the ages last night against the Detroit Lions. The Lions were held to just nine points and couldn’t convert a fourth down to save their lives. The wind was obviously a factor in last night’s game but the Eagles effort was a much larger component.

With the rushing attack of Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley, any front seven a defense puts out will have their hands full on keeping those two from bursting for big gains on the ground.

They still have elite pass catchers in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, despite Brown being unhappy with his lack of involvement this season.
The reigning Super Bowl Champs are definitely a problem for any team they face.

2. Los Angeles Rams (+650)
QB Matthew Stafford, currently the favorite to win the MVP, has this Los Angeles Rams offense rolling. His connection with wideout Puka Nacua is one of the best in football. Nacua is third in the NFL with 850 receiving yards and also third in receptions with 73.

The Rams defense has been giving offenses fits and it shows as they are second in the league in points per game only allowing just north of 17, only behind the Houston Texans defense.

Veteran wide receiver Davante Adams has been a big boost to the passing attack as he is over the 500 receiving yards mark but in the red zone is where he shines as he has found the end zone 10 times already.

1. Detroit Lions (+900)
After last night’s game, you may not like that the Detroit Lions are at the top of the list, especially because Detroit is just outside the playoff picture in the NFC at 6-4.

However, I still believe the Lions have the most explosive offense in football. A key component to the offense was missing last night as tight end Sam LaPorta was placed on injured reserve with a back injury and will miss at least four games. If this team gets LaPorta back in time for the home stretch, they will be playing their best football of the season at the right time.

The Lions have the best running back duo in the league between power back David Montgomery and the more elusive Jahmyr Gibbs. Pair that running attack with the catching threats of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, and you give QB Jared Goff more than enough options to move his team down the field.

Last night was a wake up call and I see Detroit stringing several wins in a row to put them in a playoff spot and not looking back. The Lions are one of 12 teams that has never won a Super Bowl, but at 9-to-1 odds, I think Detroit is a great bet to win it all.
