Top 10 new casino resort restaurant openings16 May 2022
When traveling and staying at these resorts, it’s always good to know what food options are available and what is new to come. Here, we take a look at restaurants that have opened or have plans to open at resorts. 10. The Hive Taphouse at Mohegan Sun Pocono Slated to launch in early summer at Mohegan Sun Pocono in Pennsylvania, The Hive Taphouse will have 20 beers on tap and will roll out an entertainment calendar featuring some of the top musical acts across the region. More than 12 high-definition TV screens will also fill up The Hive Taphouse, playing all the major sporting events. A full dining menu will feature a wide variety of dishes like appetizers, flatbreads, salads, wings, burgers, sandwiches, tacos and mac N cheese. Located near the main bar inside The Hive Taphouse will also offer Topgolf Swing Suites with two Full Swing simulators, where g can play either simulated golf across more than 80 famous courses, including Pebble Beach and Bethpage Black.
9. Mabel’s BBQ by Chef Michael Symon at Palms Mabel’s BBQ by Chef Michael Symon returned to The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas when the property reopened its doors earlier this spring. The restaurant features barbeque must-haves like smoked beef brisket and pork belly – served by the half pound, new sandwich offerings, a smash burger, and classic/seasonal sides. The Palms location includes an outdoor patio, complete with social games, a wide variety of craft beers and a selection of bourbons, whiskeys, and spirits from around the world. 8. Peter Luger Steak House at Caesars Palace Legendary New York Steak House Peter Luger is coming to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas at the end of 2022. It will be the first U.S. location outside of New York. Established in 1887, Peter Luger Steak House originated in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with a second location in Great Neck, New York, and a recently opened location in Tokyo. It was named to the James Beard Foundation's list of "America's Classics' ' in 2002, boasts a Michelin Star, and has been the Zagat-rated top steak house in New York since the survey began. Peter Luger Steak House Las Vegas will be located near MR CHOW. 7. Pink Buddha at Sycuan Casino Resort Pink Buddha, a new casual dining restaurant at Sycuan Casino Resort in California, offers a fresh take on Pan-Asian cuisine featuring the eclectic influences of China, Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines and Hawaii. Pink Buddha's fast-casual environment allows for quicker service for guests for both sit-down dining or takeout options. In addition to food and beverage offerings, guests will soon have the opportunity to purchase branded merchandise including one-of-a-kind Pink Buddha mugs, t-shirts and miniature statues. Karma Lounge at Pink Buddha is a cozy cocktail hideaway providing guests with a place to enjoy specialty cocktails and small bites. 6. Copper Whisk at Valley Forge Casino Resort On 30 March, Valley Forge Casino Resort in Pennsylvania welcomed guests to Copper Whisk for the first time. Breakfast is served all day; highlights include the Muffin of the Day baked fresh daily, several styles of Three Egg Omelets, and both sweet and savory classic breakfast dishes such as Buttermilk Pancakes, French Toast, Belgian Waffle, Traditional Eggs Benedict, Corned Beef Hash & Eggs, Biscuits & Gravy and more. The lunch menu includes several soup and salad options, four variations of Angus Burgers, and sandwiches including a Chicken Avocado Wrap, 44Farms Philly Cheese Steak and Reuben. Copper Whisk joins a lineup of existing food & beverage offerings at Valley Forge Casino Resort, including sit-down restaurants Revolution Chop House (classic upscale steakhouse) and Valley Tavern (casual American food), as well as additional quick-service food court offerings including the Italian Market, Asian Noodle and Dunkin’. 5. Nobu at Paris Las Vegas An intimate space with 140 seats and natural wood design elements, Nobu at Paris Las Vegas offers a variety of fresh fish and seafood in the form of nigiri and sashimi, from salmon and toro to jumbo clam and sea urchin. Guests can also enjoy favorites including Yellow Tail Sashimi with Jalapeno, Black Cod Dry Miso and Wagyu Tacos. Nobu at Paris Las Vegas offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes as well. “I am honored to join the team of esteemed culinary talent at Paris Las Vegas,” said Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. “I look forward to sharing some of my favorite dishes and introducing a few signature creations in this beautifully designed space to all of the Las Vegas visitors from around the world.” Nobu at Paris Las Vegas follows the success of Nobu Restaurant & Lounge at Caesars Palace. Caesars Entertainment now offers two dining experiences from Chef Nobu at the center of The Strip.
4. New dining at Tropicana AC Tropicana Atlantic City began opening new dining concepts last month and will continue to do so. The new additions and enhancements are part of Caesars Entertainment’s commitment to invest $400 million into its Atlantic City resorts by 2023. Below are just a handful of what guests can currently enjoy and expect to see in the near future: Wild Honey Smokehouse and Tavern: Joining The Quarter at Tropicana in April 2022, the 5,000 square foot BBQ restaurant will celebrate and elevate classic American comfort foods. Regional BBQ traditions from across the country and the finest quality meats and seafood guide the restaurant’s menu while the bar program features a robust beer list, innovative large format cocktails, and a selection of double-barrel smoked cocktails to complete the experience. Ossu Japanese Tavern: Ossu will introduce a modern Japanese tavern experience, just in time for summer, with a focus on small plates, yakitori, sushi and more. Opening Memorial Day Weekend. Hash House A Go Go: Known for twisted farm food and crafted cocktails, Hash House will bring its Midwest flair to Atlantic City this summer. Purple Zebra: The delicious daiquiri bar will make its Atlantic City debut this Fourth of July. 3. Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City Chef Bobby Flay and Caesars Entertainment are thrilled to announce plans to open Flay's fast-casual brand, Bobby's Burgers, at Harrah's Resort Atlantic City early this summer. The restaurant will mark Flay's return to the Atlantic City market, offering guests throughout the tri-state area an opportunity to indulge in traditional burgers, fries and shakes with a unique twist. Those looking for traditional burgers with unique flavors can enjoy the Crunchburger, topped with cheese and crispy potato chips; or the Bobby Blue + Bacon Burger, topped with blue cheese sauce and bacon. For those looking to try burgers without beef, menu items including Bobby’s Veggie Burger with barbecue mushrooms, chickpeas, quinoa, lettuce, and tomato will be offered. Additionally, the Harrah’s location will offer breakfast options on their menu.
2. Food Court at Boulder Station Last week, Boulder Station Hotel & Casino announced an all-new food court will open in the coming weeks. With a collection of six popular, fast-casual restaurants that will satisfy all cravings, the Boulder Station Food Court will offer various cuisines, including American, Mexican, Asian, Italian and more. Tacos El Pasto: The famed restaurant offers high-quality, yet accessible authentic Mexican taco dishes and is known for its secret marination process, giving its tacos a unique flavor. La Flor de Michoacán: For those with a sweet tooth, La Flor de Michoacán will offer an array of handmade ice cream flavors and their signature paletas. From unique Mexican flavors including, Gansito, Chongos, Cajetas, Mamey, Rose Petal, Guava, Chamoy, and more, to classic favorites such as Cookies and Cream and Rocky Road, La Flor de Michoacán will have something for everyone. SBARRO: Known for their New York-style slices, SBARRO serves handmade pizza made fresh with hand-stretched dough, San Marzano-style sauce, and 100% whole milk mozzarella. Guests will be encouraged to try their famous stromboli, breadsticks, and other delicious Sbarro specialties. Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop: Home to a sub voted the “best sandwich in America” along with a variety of other fan favorites, guests will be able to swing by Capriotti’s for an authentic Philly, a soul-warming Capistrami, or a great Italian sub. Teriyaki Madness: Offering real food, made-to-order, Teriyaki Madness will serve various dishes prepared with all-natural, fresh ingredients that are done quickly, at a reasonable price, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Wingstop: Wingstop, known for its award-winning chicken wings, guests can choose from eleven mouthwatering flavors. The famed wing destination will bring their cooked-to-order, sauced, and tossed selections and their hand-cut, perfectly seasoned fries for all guests to enjoy.
1. Rocks & Brews at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino On 12 May, Potawatomi Hotel & Casino leaders alongside legendary musicians Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS broke ground on the new Rock & Brews; the newest location of the music icons’ restaurant and part of a new look for the Wisconsin resort. This is just a piece of the $100 million renovation that Potawatomi Hotel & Casino recently announced. The restaurant, which will be located just past the skywalk entrance on the third floor, will feature seating for more than 200 guests. It will also have a double-sided bar with gaming machines and a stage for live music. There will also be a private dining room for parties and events. Guests can enjoy great music while they dine; and there will be screens throughout the restaurant playing rock concerts in addition to amazing art and décor from some of music’s biggest names. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and more. There will be 52 beers on tap featuring some of Brew City’s finest. Related Links
