Caesars Atlantic City resorts raise $180,908 for breast cancer research

5 November 2026

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Caesars Entertainment’s Atlantic City resorts, Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah's Atlantic City and Tropicana Atlantic City, united in the fight against breast cancer, raising $180,908 through the American Cancer Society’s Men Wear Pink campaign.

The trio of resorts ranked as the top three fundraising teams in the Greater Philadelphia area. Together, they exceeded their 2025 fundraising total by more than $50,000, a testament to the dedication and leadership of their Men Wear Pink ambassadors. Efforts were spearheaded by Keith Purnell, senior director of hotel operations, and Christian Golder, vice president of security, both of Caesars Atlantic City; Jim Marota, director of sales, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City; and?John Happersett, casino operations controller, and Larry Johnson, executive steward, both of Tropicana Atlantic City. Tropicana’s ambassadors were not only named No. 1 in the region for fundraising, but they also earned national recognition, placing No. 7 among all Men Wear Pink ambassadors across the country.

The ambassadors hosted a variety of fundraisers, including but not limited to, t-shirt, water ice and bake sales, prize drawings, a dunk tank event, and a Charity Golf Scramble. Their creativity helped drive Team Member engagement and community support throughout the campaign.

Men Wear Pink empowers community leaders to raise money and awareness while wearing pink throughout October. Funds support the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate survivors and lead the fight for a world without breast cancer.
