Uganda Minister Crashes Casino Opening

UGANDA – As reported by the Kampala: "If you step on Maj. Gen. Kahinda Otafiire's toes and expect him to keep quiet, you are wrong.

"On Saturday, the Minister of Water, Lands and Environment added colour to the opening of Grande Casino on Crested Towers by launching a passionate protest for not being invited.

"…'You the press always misquote me. Without me, this place (Grande Casino) would not be here. But I haven't been invited. I'm paying my bills,' he started the barrage of words soon after he was called from the bar to the microphone after he had complained loudly. Otafiire was not given a seat at the high table either.
