Trump Marina reject union14 May 2007ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: "Dealers at the Trump Marina Hotel Casino narrowly voted down a bid to unionize, according to union representatives Saturday. "Dealers voted 183-175 against joining the Detroit-based United Auto Workers union Friday, becoming the first casino in the resort to buck the unionization trend. Union officials said the vote won't stop them in their efforts to unionize other Atlantic City casinos. "...A 'substantial majority' of Trump Marina dealers had signed union authorization cards before the vote, according to UAW Secretary-Treasurer Elizabeth Bunn.
