19 December 2025

This week, we saw two guests saw their lives change from jackpots, one in Las Vegas and one in Atlantic City. In addition, FanDuel launched a Bet Tracking tool, a new Caesars Sportsbook in Las Vegas was announced, and Paddy Power Betfair settles with the U.K. Gambling Commission.

Let’s begin with a couple of major wins:

5. Golden Nugget Atlantic City awards near $1 million win
Golden Nugget - Atlantic City is ready for the holidays after one of its guests, William, hit a $985,742 progressive jackpot on Tuesday.

The guest secured the near $1 million payout while playing Wheel of Fortune Trio Games located in the New Jersey casino’s High Limit Slot Room.

4. $1.2 million video poker jackpot at Resorts World Las Vegas
On Sunday night, a guest staying at Resorts World Las Vegas, in town visiting from California, turned a $105 spin on a $5 Double Super Times Pay Poker machine into a $1.2 million win after landing three royal flushes boosted by a 20x multiplier.

3. FanDuel launches Bet Tracking
Earlier this week, FanDuel announced the launch of Bet Tracking, an interactive viewing feature that now allows fans in select markets to follow their FanDuel Sportsbook bets in real time while watching live NBA and NHL games on FanDuel Sports Network.

Bet Tracking has officially launched across select FanDuel Sports Network NBA broadcasts including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, and Memphis Grizzlies, as well as NHL coverage of the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, and Nashville Predators.

2. Paddy Power Betfair agrees to settlement
Paddy Power Betfair is to pay £2 million after a U.K. Gambling Commission investigation revealed social responsibility failures relating to customer interaction.

Four remote operators, trading under the names Paddy Power and Betfair, will pay the money as part of a settlement with the Commission: PPB Entertainment Limited, PPB Counterparty Services Limited, Betfair Casino Limited, TSE Malta LP.

Social responsibility failures included one customer displayed concerning behavior from spikes in activity without interaction, with their longest session throughout a 17-day period being 7 hours and 46 minutes during which they placed over 300 bets amounting to £20,000.

1. Caesars Sportsbook to open at Rampart Casino Resort at Summerlin
On Monday, Caesars Entertainment announced a partnership with Rampart Casino Resort at Summerlin to open a Caesars Sportsbook inside the Las Vegas property.

Targeting an opening in early 2026, the new sportsbook will feature a new video wall and a 360-degree LED video display at the sportsbook bar. Additionally, 20 Caesars Sportsbook self-service betting kiosks will be available inside the sportsbook and throughout the casino.
