Greektown Casino-Hotel hosts golf outing for Detroit youth charities17 August 2012DETROIT, Michigan -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Greektown Casino-Hotel today announced that it will host its 4th annual charity golf outing to benefit local nonprofits that instill leadership skills in Detroit area youth. The event will tee off on Monday, August 27 at Shenandoah Country Club in West Bloomfield. All proceeds will be distributed equally among three local youth charities: Think Detroit PAL, Boys Hope Girls Hope and the Coleman A. Young Foundation. "We are so honored to host this fun-filled event which brings the local business community together to help support our city's youth. Through this event we hope to make an impact for these organizations which are so committed every day to the future of our children," said Michael Puggi, President & CEO, Greektown Casino-Hotel. In addition to the golf, guests can participate in numerous contests, such as longest drive and closest to the pin. Various hole-in-one prizes, including a Harley Davidson provided by Motor City Harley, a car provided by Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge Jeep and a Rolex watch from HOUR Detroit, will also be up for grabs. The event will culminate with an awards dinner and live auction featuring an array of donated items. Greektown Casino-Hotel plans to make the golf outing an annual event.
