Foxwoods Resort Casino names new VP16 October 2007MASHANTUCKET, Connecticut -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- John O'Brien, president of Foxwoods Resort Casino, today announced that Kevin O'Sullivan has been appointed to the position of senior vice president of gaming of the Foxwoods Resort Casino and the highly anticipated MGM Grand at Foxwoods scheduled to open in May 2008. O'Sullivan brings with him more than 24 years of experience in the casino industry. In his new role, O'Sullivan will oversee the day to day operations of all aspects related to gaming in both casinos. "We are thrilled to welcome Kevin O'Sullivan to Foxwoods Resort Casino," said John O'Brien, president, Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods. "Kevin brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and will be an asset to ensuring our guests experience the most exciting and diverse gaming options each and every time they visit Foxwoods Resort Casino and the MGM Grand at Foxwoods." Prior to joining Foxwoods Resort Casino, O'Sullivan held various executive positions at some of Mississippi's top gaming facilities gaining extensive knowledge in casino operations, marketing and promotions. Most recently, O'Sullivan was senior vice president of operations at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. In addition, O'Sullivan has the proven ability to successfully open new gaming facilities having opened the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi and the aforementioned Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. O'Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in electrical engineering from Bulawayo Technical College in South Africa. |
