Foxwoods Resort Casino slot revenue dips in February 202627 March 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino is reporting a slot revenue of $27.2 million for the month of February 2026, resulting in a $6.8 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s longstanding slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has contributed more than $4.8 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue to the state’s budget fund. February at Foxwoods Resort Casino delivered a packed month of live entertainment, seasonal celebrations, and exciting gaming moments, welcoming guests for a lineup that spanned country music, comedy, iconic rock, and special cultural and holiday experiences. The month kicked off with comedy favorite Bob Marley bringing his signature New England humor to the Great Cedar Showroom on 6 and 7 February, delivering a three-show run packed with his trademark storytelling and down-to-earth style. That same weekend, country star Brett Young took over the Premier Theater on 7 February with his 2.0 Tour, performing fan-favorite hits including “In Case You Didn’t Know” and “Mercy.” Guests also enjoyed the high-energy return of Bingo Unleashed on 7 February, a lively twist on classic bingo featuring music, lights, and interactive party-style entertainment. Valentine’s Day weekend brought a full slate of experiences across the property. On 14 February, guests celebrated with a special performance of A Tribute to Whitney Houston starring Belinda Davids alongside the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra, while country favorites Eli Young Band performed live with special guest LANCO in the Great Cedar Showroom. Throughout the resort, couples and groups marked the holiday with live entertainment, elevated dining experiences, and gaming excitement. February also featured an exciting mix of performances from acclaimed artists and entertainers. Theresa Caputo brought her live show, Theresa Caputo Live: The Experience, to the Premier Theater on 20 February, delivering an intimate evening of personal stories and audience readings. That same night, rock and blues legend Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top performed with the BFG Band in the Great Cedar Showroom. The global phenomenon Riverdance 30 – The New Generation celebrated its 30th anniversary with performances on 21 and 22 February, blending traditional Irish dance with new choreography and a fresh generation of performers. Rock and comedy fans closed out the month with memorable performances from Candlebox on February 27, comedy icon Cedric the Entertainer on 27 February, and comedian Tom Papa, who brought his Grateful Bread Tour to the Great Cedar Showroom on 28 February. On 15 February, Foxwoods marked its 34th Anniversary with a celebration at Fox Tower that included a cake cutting, t-shirt giveaway, and the highly anticipated drawing for a 2026 BMW X5. Later in the month, Foxwoods welcomed guests for Lunar New Year festivities on 21 February, highlighted by a traditional lion dance, cultural market, and special holiday menus. |
