Detroit casinos report $100.6 million in February 2026 revenue11 March 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- Detroit’s three commercial casinos reported $100.6 million in aggregate revenue for February 2026. Table games and slots generated $100.0 million, while retail sports betting produced $560,960 in qualified adjusted gross receipts (QAGR). February market shares were: - MGM Grand Detroit Casino, 48% - MotorCity Casino, 29% - Hollywood Casino at Greektown, 23% Table Games and Slot Revenue February 2026 table games and slot revenue increased 2.0% compared with February 2025 and declined 3.0% from January 2026. For the period Jan. 1-Feb. 28, revenue was up 1.4% year-over-year. Casino-level results compared with February 2025 were: - MGM: up 4.1% to $48.3 million - MotorCity: up 3.3% to $29.4 million - Hollywood Casino at Greektown: down 3.7% to $22.3 million The casinos paid $8.1 million in state gaming taxes in February, compared with $7.9 million in February 2025. They also reported submitting $11.9 million in wagering taxes and development agreement payments to the City of Detroit. Retail Sports Betting Revenue Detroit casinos reported $6.5 million in total retail sports betting handle for February. Total gross receipts were $578,285. QAGR declined 31.2% from February 2025 and 27.2% from January 2026. February QAGR by casino: - MGM: $134,420 - MotorCity: $159,851 - Hollywood Casino at Greektown: $266,689 The casinos paid $21,204 in state taxes and submitted $25,916 in wagering taxes to the City of Detroit based on February retail sports betting activity. Fantasy Contests For January 2026, fantasy contest operators reported $991,827 in adjusted revenues and paid $83,313 in taxes. |
