Computer Glitches Delays Greektown Payouts

DETROIT – As reported by the Detroit News: "Sanford Eisenberg hit the jackpot Sunday while playing a slot machine at the Greektown Casino — and he was upset.

"Eisenberg of Southfield was among a handful of irate jackpot winners who had to cool their heels for up to three hours waiting to be paid. Casino employees were forced to manually process the jackpot payments, thanks to a computer glitch that affected some of the casino's 2,400 slots.

"…The glitch happened about 4 p.m. Sunday, said casino spokesman Roger Martin. The problem only affected jackpot winners, Martin said…"
