BC casino in talks to prevent strike5 May 2008VERNON, British Columbia -- As reported by the Vernon Morning Star: "Negotiations to try and prevent a labour dispute at Lake City Casino begin Tuesday. "Talks will be held between the company and the B.C. Government and Service Employees Union. "...Workers at the four Lake City Casino operations, including Vernon, have voted 86 per cent in favour of strike action.
