Horoscope for the week of February 27, 2005

Tip of the Week:

In 1977 a new planetoid was discovered orbiting between Saturn and Uranus. Many Astronomers did consider it to be a comet and many still do, yet others recognize certain unique, maverick qualities of this celestial orb that puts it is a league of its own. This planetoid or tiny planet is called Chiron. In Greek mythology, Chiron was a centaur, a very evolved and bright centaur, and a great teacher and healer of heroes. Chief among them was Hercules. Unfortunately, one day while Hercules carelessly shot a poison tipped arrow into the foot of Chiron. The wound was severe and from that day on Chiron became known as the wounded healer. There are many more parts to the story; however, since Chiron was sighted humanity turned its attention toward understanding health and healing in a whole new holistic way. Last week, Chiron entered the tropical sign of Aquarius, the sign of humanity (Feb. 21, 2005 – Apr. 19, 2010). This transit suggests a great healing process. While there is much to say about this process, the healing revolution will bring the whole of humanity to the realization that everything in the universe is ultimately a form of energy. Energetic healing and vibration medicine are on the rise!

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Taking time out to dream verses taking an assertive approach continues. Sometimes there are cross currents and winds that we simply must manage. Such challenges tend to include a fear factor which is about facing and entering the unknown. This is where the bold, courageous and determined pioneering characteristics of Aries come to the fore. Replacing the mundane, especially in relationships, with the exotic and/or erotic is the fantasy in your mind.

Taurus (Apr 21 – May 20)

Adding new spice to your life is playing on your imagination now. This may well include new friendships and associations with interest groups and/or joining clubs. Dreams and visions of future needs and other possibilities are motivating your search. Finding your place in the world is as much about inspiration as it is about destiny and vice versa. Opening up to new people and modes of perception is the sign that you are on track. Free your mind!

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 20)

The need for social acknowledgement is strong now. This may include professional and/or artistic arenas. Appreciating unique modes of expression is keeping the flow interesting. Change and adventure into the unknown is more a source of inspiration than fear. Yet, some apprehension lingers as the winds are blowing unpredictably. Place your confidence in the divine power and reality of change. Resistance is futile so fly baby!

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 21)

Celebrating the reaches of your higher mind finds you curious, awed and inspired. Hopefully, your soaring imagination isn't losing altitude in worries about the future and other negative hallucinations. Like all things, imagination is a sword that can cut both ways. Asserting yourself should not be aggressive if you are in balance and flow. Listen to your body this week and work within a healthy capacity. Intend to handle your business and duty with grace.

Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 22)

Transformations of mind and soul are ushering you through a liberating process. If the process is an ordeal and involves pain, consider letting go more fully into the process. This is a time of surrender to the greater flow for you. Whether waves are carrying you to great heights or you are tumbling in the surf break, surrender to assist the process. There is little need for ego will just now. This is an awakening to inner authority. Feel the power of rebirth!

Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 21)

Relationship shifts and changes are keeping you guessing. Freedom urges are linked to creative expression and time management. Creating harmony on relationship fronts is a top priority. Balancing your time and energy with others requires clear communication; with Mercury in Pisces, double check agreements! Assert your position and truth as quietly and confidently as you can. Whatever is happening, this is a time of healing and breakthrough for you!

Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 21)

Establishing a healthy flow requires some deliberate efforts. This is a good time to be learning and/or exercising skills and techniques. Renovations of one kind or another are necessary. This may imply your attitude and approach as well as household projects. Establishing a more secure and independent identity while maintaining harmony in relationships is one of your most important tasks. Let creative inspiration lead the way!

Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)

So, who are you now? We do change and sometimes it catches us unaware. Ideally you recognize the burst of creative inspiration that comes with having an open mind about the possibilities for self-expression. Aquarius (Jan 20- Feb 19)

A new quality of expression is awakening in you. The time has come to take more deliberate action. Finding the will and courage to actualize your intentions, however, may take a little time. If you are doing inner work or work behind the scenes in preparation then you are in tune. This is a good time to plan and visualize. You will be much more deliberate and assertive with the waxing of the next Moon cycle. Aim for comfortable productivity.

Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Love and liberty are beautiful words together and you can feel both. This is a time when dreams can come true. The energy and action required to act on these ideals, however, could be revolutionary and perhaps even harsh. Asserting yourself according to inner authority and beyond fears is a prerequisite for success.
