With Mars in Taurus, the sign that Venus governs, and Venus in Scorpio, which is co-ruled by Mars, we are currently experiencing a "mutual reception" between the classical lovers. While a mutual reception is generally a favorable situation in Astrology there is an added complication in this case. You see, Mars in Taurus and Venus in Scorpio are both in their most challenging signs. Mars in Taurus signifies big ambitions but not so big energy to back them up with the required effort. These ambitions are usually for money, possessions and luxuries. Venus in Scorpio meanwhile signifies deep and very potentially excessive desires. These intense desires tend towards wanting to know all about someone yet unwilling to reveal any of their own personal truths and/or deeper motives and/or secrets. This potentially manipulative alignment will be active for about one month. Awareness of this influence can help overcome the lower expressions and make the most out of this passionate alignment. That this flirtatious and passionate pair is in mutual reception does also offer opportunities for intimacy and pleasure.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Cleaning-up in one way or another in preparation for a new season is in the spotlight. Your independence as well as your ambition continues to grow strong.
