Summer is rapidly approaching now and the planetary alignments concur that that is a time of action and new beginnings. Much of the focus will be centered on home and family for the next few weeks. Mercury and Venus are both in Cancer, the sign of family, and the Sun will soon follow marking the event of Summer Solstice at around midnight on June 20. Saturn has been in Cancer for the past couple of years and Mercury and Venus will reach and pass old Cronus and enter Leo a couple of weeks ahead of Saturn. The Sun will have to catch up and will connect with Saturn only after it enters Leo in mid July. When planets connect with Saturn there is an added feeling of weight in the air. At worst Saturn stimulates feelings of weight and depression and at best, Saturn supports disciplined action. In any case, summer is on the horizon, rejoice!

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Your sensitivities are running high now. You may feel quite touchy and reactive to slights and subtleties that you would normally brush aside. Reactions to the provocations of others are likely to be very strong this week. Anger you have not seen for some time is close to the surface. Above all, your desire some private space where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Make efforts to communicate your feelings diplomatically and set some boundaries!

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

Making good of your many talents and resources is high on your mind this week. You are eager to secure your position somehow. This may be especially evident on the home front where you want to create more comfort, beauty and perhaps privacy. Close communications with family are important. Meanwhile, your mind is sharp and your ability to tune into subtle nuances of thought and emotion are heightened. Intend to get close and cozy.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Expressing yourself in an empathetic, harmonious and comforting way is now in the spotlight. Brainstorming for ideas about how to create more income is strong. You want to make purchases to beautify your home. Romantic considerations are prompting your choices. In certain ways you feel rebellious and determined to make some noticeable changes. Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
