The average statewide hold for slots is only five to seven percent.
Every article I've ever read advises me to play table games because of the low house edge compared to slots. ... (read more)

In 1789 in a letter to French scientist Jean-Baptiste Le Roy, Benjamin Franklin wrote, "...in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes."
Had he lived in the 20th century, Franklin could have added a third certainty: long-term payback rises with denomination.
Actually, Franklin didn't coin the phrase and long-term payback doesn't always rise with denomination. ... (read more)

Ask the Slot Expert: Fault tolerance in slot clubs and slot machines17 August 2016
I had two potentially distressing events happen to me this past week while playing video poker. Both events show the high degree of fault tolerance built into slot machines and slot club systems.
The first event occurred at Red Rock Casino on Wednesday. I was just a few thousand points short of achieving President level in the Station Casinos Boarding Pass slot club. ... (read more)
