Interview with Slot Host fromIsle of Capri Casino and Hotel, Black Hawk, Colorado1 October 2001
'Rocky Mountain high' awaits us in Colorado where we interview a Slot Host at the state's largest and newest casino hotel. The Slot Host should be included as a most important contact before, during, and for future planned visits to your favorite casinos. To introduce slot players to this friendly and valuable person, we interviewed Rudy Rodriguis from Isle of Capri Casino & Hotel in Black Hawk, CO. Rudy: For 2 1/2 years now. SR: Where are you from originally? Rudy: The great state of Texas. SR: What is the name of your current Slot Club? Rudy: Island Gold Card. SR: Do you offer any special gifts or bonuses for new members/sign-ups? Rudy: Yes -- when you sign up for a new card and play $10, you receive a $10 coupon in the mail for redemption on your next visit. SR: Do you offer a cash-back program? Rudy: Yes, 100 points = $5 cash-back for machine and table play. SR: Most slot players are not aware of the many services provided by the Slot Hosts. What are the other benefits of the Island Gold Card at Isle of Capri, Black Hawk? Rudy: Players can earn free dinners and discounts on hotel rooms with play. Room Comps: Yes, if you call ahead, we can customize your trip to include an upgrade or better rates. Food Comps: Yes. We have three restaurants, all of which are open 24 hours. Show/Event Tickets: Yes, we will swap Show/Event tickets with other casino properties nearby based on availability. Do you offer Limo, bus, airport shuttle, line of credit or any other individual services? Yes, we can provide shuttle service, however we do not offer a line of credit. SR: Remember too, that Slots Hosts are available for general questions and/or should any problem situation arise. SR: What has been the best experience in your job? Rudy: Meeting and getting to know all of the great customers we have here at the Isle of Capri, Black Hawk. SR: What has been the worst experience in your job? Rudy: Not being able to accommodate all of our guests, all of the time. SR: Other Comments? Rudy: I would like to extend an invitation to all casino players to visit our casino in the beautiful Rocky Mountains close to Denver. Rudy, thanks for the interview and you sure don't have to ask me twice to visit your beautiful state and casino.
