Hi Frank, I have a question about machines that lose the connection with their computer system in the casino. I have on occasion at two different casinos, bet high and lost hundreds of dollars without a "hit" and when I have spent all my money and get off the machine with cashing out a few cents, the screen has gone blue and said hand payout or no connection to system. ... About a year ago, I wrote to you about how "video poker" machines were working in a NY Racino, and you explained they were "bingo based or lottery based" machines, which simply meant that the outcome of that particular hand was pre-determined when the cards were dealt, and that the "hold" cards played no role in the outcome. ... Dear Frank: Hi just wanted to give my two cents. I am 45 and have been gambling since I was 7. Craps, poker and sports betting are my thing. I have never read a book on gambling until recently. Hi Frank, I guess you heard that New Jersey is going the route of legalizing online gambling for a 10-year trial with the Atlantic City casinos. Politics as usual want to suck as much money out of the people. I see several problems at least.
