March 2014 Featured Game report

27 March 2014

As I wrote at the beginning of the year, I've decided to "spice up" my Featured Game responsibilities for Casino City. I am now keeping track of my results for each week, and will provide monthly, quarterly and a final annual report at the end of the year.

As noted in my introductory story, my plan is to bet $1 of play money per line per spin, or as close to it as possible, until triggering the bonus round. This allows me to see the game in its entirety and write a comprehensive review.

In January, I played five games and made a total profit of $997 in 1 hour and 22 minutes of play. In February, I played four games and lost a whopping $5,666 in just 59 minutes.

I wrote four Featured Game reviews in March. The first game I played was Desert Treasure at Slots Heaven, a 20-payline slot. I hit the bonus round in just one minute, but the $136 win in the bonus round was not enough to offset my previous losses, and I finished down $14 for the game.

My second game was Under the Bed at 7Red. I booked a $605 win in 11 minutes on this 30-payline slot thanks to a $1,530 win in the bonus round.

Next I played Coyote Cash at Club Player Casino, a 25-payline slot that resulted in my only losing session of the month. It took me 12 minutes to reach the bonus round, and my $308 win there was not enough to offset my total loss of $761.

The last game I played was Tycoons at Bovada Casino, a 30-payline slot with three different bonus possibilities. I profited $1,860 in just eight minutes on this game, thanks to a $600 win in the Billionaire's Club and two big scores from the "Click Me" feature.

Here are the final results and totals for the year:

March 2014 profit: $1,690
Total 2014 profit: -$2,979

March 2014 time spent: 32 minutes
Total 2014 time spent: 2 hours, 53 minutes

March 2014 hourly rate: $3,168.75/hour
Total 2014 hourly rate: -$1,033.18/hour
