April 2014 Featured Game report

29 April 2014

As I wrote at the beginning of the year, I've decided to "spice up" my Featured Game responsibilities for Casino City. I am now keeping track of my results for each week, and will provide monthly, quarterly and a final annual report at the end of the year.

As noted in my introductory story, my plan is to bet $1 of play money per line per spin, or as close to it as possible, until triggering the bonus round. This allows me to see the game in its entirety and write a comprehensive review.

In January, I played five games and made a total profit of $997 in 1 hour and 22 minutes of play. In February, I played four games and lost a whopping $5,666 in 59 minutes. In March, I played four games and made a profit of $1,690 in just 32 minutes.

I wrote four Featured Game reviews in April. The first game I played was More Gold Diggin' at 7Red, a 25-payline slot. I hit the bonus round in just two minutes, and the $517 win in the bonus round was enough to offset my previous losses and leave me with a net win of $474 for the game.

My second game was Crystal Waters at Club Player Casino. I lost $1,366 in 12 minutes on this 20-payline slot, in which I wasn't helped by a measly $90 win in the bonus round.

Next I played Gold Trophy 2 at BetVictor Casino, a 20-payline slot that resulted in my second win of the month. It took me 34 minutes to reach the bonus round, and my $502 win there was enough to offset my previous losses and net me a $287 profit.

The last game I played was The Incredible Hulk 50-Lines at Slots Heaven, a 50-payline slot. I booked by far my biggest loss to date on this game, a $12,641 slaughter in 50 minutes of play.

Here are the final results and totals for the year:

April 2014 profit: -$13,246
Total 2014 profit: -$16,255

April 2014 time spent: 1 hour, 38 minutes
Total 2014 time spent: 4 hours, 31 minutes

April 2014 hourly rate: -$8109.80/hour
Total 2014 hourly rate: -$3,598.89/hour
