10. New Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy Harrah’s! Chicken Guy! by famed chef and TV personality Guy Fieri is now open at Harrah's Las Vegas Casino & Hotel as of late April. The new destination is the second location on The Strip and Guy Fieri’s fourth restaurant with Caesars Entertainment Las Vegas Resorts. The fast-casual dining venue features all-natural chicken. To best enjoy the tenders, guests can choose from 11 signature condiments including Donkey Sauce – a mixture of mayonnaise, roasted garlic, mustard, Worcestershire and lemon – and Nashville Hot Honey Sauce.
9. Backstreet Boys shows Due to overwhelming demand, the Backstreet Boys are adding a final three shows to their highly anticipated summer residency, “Into The Millennium” at Sphere in Las Vegas on 22, 23 and 24 August, bringing the total number of shows to 21, and marking their final shows of 2025. The Backstreet Boys are the first pop act to perform at Sphere and will bring their Millennium album to life, alongside a selection of their greatest hits, for performances 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 July, and 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, and 24 August.
8. Wheel of Fortune LIVE Wheel of Fortune LIVE! will be hitting the Las Vegas Strip with an extended engagement at Paris Las Vegas starting 11 July. Hosted by Mark Walberg, the game show will come to life live on stage giving fans the chance to spin the famous wheel, solve puzzles and win prizes. Fans of Wheel of Fortune will also be able to audition on-site for the chance to appear as a contestant on a future episode of the TV show alongside hosts Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White.
7. Pickleball summer league Offering 16 rooftop pickleball courts, the most of any Las Vegas resort, the Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas will offer a summer pickleball league beginning 10 June. Open to players 18 years or older and at any skill level, the Honcho summer league at the Plaza will offer registered players weekly matches, waived court fees, a chance to win a champion prize package valued at $600, and free Honcho branded apparel and equipment. In addition, at the end of each weekly match, participants can connect with fellow players and relax at the exclusive Honcho happy hour held at Carousel Bar. The Honcho summer league at the Plaza Hotel & Casino lasts six weeks followed by two weeks of playoffs. 6. BetMGM Poker Championship Last month, BetMGM announced the BetMGM Poker Championship will return to Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas from 30 June to 4 July. The no-limit hold’em tournament has a $3,500 buy-in and offers participants a $3 million guaranteed prize pool. For the fourth consecutive year, the BetMGM Poker Championship will begin in Aria’s Poker Room and conclude with a live-streamed Final Table at the PokerGO Studio. 5. NBA Summer League Taking place at UNLV, the NBA Summer League will have all 30 teams participating for 11 days from 10-20 July. It is a great chance for fans to get an up-close look at the top NBA Draft picks and guys who are pushing to make an NBA roster.
4. Treasure Island sportsbook As a result of a partnership, Station Casinos and Treasure Island in Las Vegas debuted a new sportsbook at the end of April. The 3,089-square-foot book features 74 high-definition screens throughout the space, ranging from 55" to 85" displays, plus video walls providing viewing of every sporting event. Sports enthusiasts also can enjoy a new eight-kiosk layout and mobile sign-up stations for STN Sports accounts. 3. Planet Hollywood’s poker room With less than two weeks until cards are in the air at the 56th annual World Series of Poker, Caesars Entertainment is gearing up for a summer full of poker play with the opening of a new poker room on the Las Vegas Strip. Last Friday, Planet Hollywood Las Vegas officially opened and began hosting its first poker games. The 24-hour Poker Room spans 4,800 square feet and includes 23 poker tables – 12 for cash games and 11 for tournament play. 2. Memorial Day Weekend Las Vegas is set to heat up this Memorial Day weekend packed with parties, shows and sun-soaked celebrations that only the Entertainment Capital of the World can offer. Guests looking for fun in the sun can splash into the new $20 million project, Go Pool, at Flamingo Las Vegas. The multi-pool complex will include a swim-up bar, DJs and a reimagined poolside food and beverage menu. Jewel Nightclub at Aria Resort & Casino will host top hip-hop talent with performances from Fat Joe on Friday, Chase B on Saturday and Murda Beatz on Monday. OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars Palace will feature EDM legends throughout the holiday weekend, with performances from Martin Garrix and Justin Mylo on Friday, Zedd on Saturday and Steve Aoki on Sunday. PISCES Bar and Seafare will open at Wynn Las Vegas this month, just in time for MDW. The restaurant will transport diners to the Mediterranean coast, with a menu curated by executive chef, Martin Heierling.
1. The World Series of Poker World Series of Poker and Caesars Entertainment unveiled the dates for the upcoming 2025 World Series of Poker, which returns for a fourth consecutive year to the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip. The series will run from 27 May to 16 July, with poker’s undisputed world championship, also known as the Main Event, beginning on 2 July. The Main Event Final Table will occur 15-16 July inside the Horseshoe Events Center. Fan favorites, including the Mystery Millions, Millionaire Maker, and the Senior’s Championship, are returning to the schedule.
