Top 10 Las Vegas Fourth of July parties1 July 2019
9. Plaza Hotel and Casino The Plaza Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas will host its annual Independence Day party at its rooftop pool. At the free-to-attend party, guests can swim or relax poolside while a DJ plays crowd favorites. Festivities start with downtown Las Vegas’ only hot dog eating contest in the style of the famous event held annually at Coney Island. The contest winner will receive a grand prize, which includes $200, a free two-night stay at the Plaza, $150 to Oscar’s Steakhouse, a free pool cabana, plus $50 towards food and beverage at the Pool at the Plaza. The party culminates with live fireworks at 9 p.m. 8. The LINQ Fourth of July guests at The LINQ Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip will be able to enjoy several activities, including a parade starting at 8 p.m. before the fireworks. There is also an all-you-can-drink offering from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. During the day, there will be family friendly activities along with live music performers, rides on the High Roller and dueling DJs. 7. Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino The resort at the far south end of the Strip will continue its Mandalay Bay Summer Concert on the Beach Series on 4 July. There will be a fireworks display to go along with a performance from reggae-fusion group Mystic Roots Band. Admission is $20 and the fireworks are scheduled to begin after the musical performance at 10:30 p.m. 6. The Cromwell The Cromwell on the Strip is hosting two Independence Day events. During the day, guests can attend a free pool party at Drais with DJ Pauly D of Jersey Shore fame performing from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Later at night, the resort will host a fireworks viewing party. People can reserve a table and get a perfect vantage point of the fireworks at one of its signature restaurants, Giada. 5. Bally's – Las Vegas The Las Vegas Strip resort’s Blue Pool is offering early bird specials with 2-for-1 Bloody Mary's or mimosas from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Then, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Happy Hour includes half-off frozen cocktails and $35 beer buckets, with DJs performing throughout the day. 4. Golden Nugget – Las Vegas Honky Tonk at The Tank is coming back to Golden Nugget – Las Vegas. At 9 p.m. The Rhyolite Sound will be playing poolside. Also being offered at the Downtown Las Vegas resort are beer bucket deals and complimentary samples. 3. The STRAT Hotel, Casino and SkyPod Formerly known as the Stratosphere, The STRAT, which celebrated its rebrand earlier this year, is offering a chance to take advantage of its SkyPod thrill rides from 4 to 7 July. For $44.95, a one-day unlimited ride pass can be purchased for X-Scream, Insanity and Big Shot at the top of the SkyPod. Also, on Thursday, a one-day admission ticket to the SkyPod’s Observation Deck is just $25. The deck is 1,149 feet above ground level, so if you want to take in some roller coasters and great views of the fireworks, this is the place to be. 2. Paris Las Vegas Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop at Paris Las Vegas will host DJ appearances for the 4th and a UFC 239 after party on 6 July. The weekend-long celebration begins on Chateau’s industry night, Thursday, July 4, with performances by DJ Bayati and DJ Casanova. On Saturday, the party will keep going with Ben “Funky” Askren’s after party, after he takes on Jorge Masvidal. Beer Park will also be taking part in the Fourth of July fun at Paris Las Vegas. The rooftop bar and grill at Paris Las Vegas will feature Fourth of July cocktails all day on Thursday, with ideal views of the Las Vegas Strip fireworks available at 9 p.m. Some of the special cocktails include the Freedom Bowl, a sharable 50-ounce fish-bowl cocktail made with Skyy Infusions Watermelon Vodka, watermelon juice, two Bomb Pop popsicles and festive star straws, priced at $45; and the Peach Sparkler, made with Crown Royal Peach Whisky, ginger ale and a festive star straw, priced at $13. 1. Caesars Palace The Las Vegas Strip fireworks has been mentioned a few times, but Caesars Palace is where they happen. Many people go to different spots along the Strip to get a glance at the memorable fireworks. Caesars is the home of the fireworks, which are planned to commence at 9:15 p.m. on 4 July. They will last roughly 13 minutes and will take off from the Julius Tower of the resort. The Gazillionaire is celebrating 4,500 performances of ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace with the fireworks display. “4,500 shows? Time sure does drag when you have to deal with the idiots I employ,” shared The Gazillionaire while announcing the upcoming spectacle during the finale of last night’s late show. “I’ve really painted myself into a corner here since fans of the show have come to expect a party for every little occasion. Anniversary? Party. It’s Saturday? Party. 4,500 shows? Blow some sh*t up…and then party.” One of the better views of the fireworks can be found at the front fountains of Caesars. Also being offered at the resort are drink specials, games, DJs and more during the day at Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis. Related Links
