Quarles of Brookhaven, Mississippi hit for $1,111,759.20 while playing Buffalo Grand with a $3.75 wager. When Quarles was asked about her big win she said, “Give to others generously and the Lord will give back to you.” Tim Morrissey, Vice President and General Manager of Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel said, “We’re excited that our guest came in for some entertainment with friends and is walking out a millionaire. It’s all part of the thrill, you never know when you’ll hit it big.” 7. $1.2 million On the final day of August, a lucky guest from Texas visiting Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City for the first-time, won big on an IGT Wheel of Fortune 4D Collector’s Edition progressive slot machine. The exact jackpot totaled $1,265,086. This was the largest jackpot won at the casino in 2023, and the first jackpot over $1 million awarded since September of 2021.
6. $1.2 million In early 2023, a guest hit a Super4 Progressive Blackjack jackpot of over $1.2 million with a $5 side bet at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Florida. The gentleman from Lake Worth, Florida was celebrating his birthday and the winning hand was a Royal Flush in Diamonds with a King and Queen combined with the dealer’s Jack and Ace of Diamonds. 5. $1.2 million Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Sacramento at Fire Mountain announced that on 26 April a local guest from Sacramento hit it big when she won $1,272,905 on a penny slot with just a $3.75 bet. The progressive jackpot was won on the Ultimate Fire Link Explosion game and the winner declined to share her identity publicly. 4. $1.5 million On Saturday, 15 July, a local Florida resident hit a nearly $1.5 million jackpot on a Dragon Link slot machine at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. The guest hit the $1,493,111 jackpot while playing Dragon Link on a $250 bet.

After celebrating his 50th birthday on 2 April, tragedy struck on 5 April, when his long-time girlfriend passed away suddenly. Just two weeks later, and reeling from the unexpected and devastating loss, he went to Casino Woodbine, a favorite entertainment spot for both of them. The official value of the record-setting jackpot was $14,005,833. The Reno woman had not planned to be at the Atlantis Sunday, but due to a cruise cancellation, she extended her stay at the AAA Four Diamond resort.
