4. Another millionaire crowned in Las Vegas
Early Tuesday morning at Flamingo Las Vegas, a Caesars Rewards member joined the millionaire club.

The person hit the mega progressive jackpot for $1,333,121 on Pai Gow Poker with a winning hand of a seven-card straight flush of diamonds.

3. Las Vegas tourism spending sets new record
A new report from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority revealed that the total economic output related to visitor spending reached a record $79.3 billion in 2022, a 24.7% increase from the previous record set in 2019.

Despite 2022’s 38.8 million visitation tally falling 3.7 million visitors short of the 2019 visitation total, overall spending increased dramatically due to a 33.4 percent rise in per-trip visitor spending compared with 2019.

The annual Economic Impact of Southern Nevada’s Tourism Industry report outlines economic impacts associated with the region’s tourism industry and convention travel, including visitor spending on rooms, dining, shopping, sports, local transportation and other activities and amenities.

Resorts Casino Hotel, the first casino hotel in Atlantic City, will celebrate its 45th anniversary on Memorial Day Weekend. Festivities are set to begin on Friday, 26 May, as Kelsey Grammer and Mayor Marty Small Sr. host the Annual Opening of the Sea Ceremony.

On Saturday, 27 May, guests are invited to head down to the Margaritaville Lobby and get a free pull on the very first slot machine that went live in Atlantic City in 1978 from Resorts Casino Hotel.
