Take for example, Atlantic City, where in 1984 the state Casino Control Commission said there were 1,165 table games and 16,183 slots in 11 casinos. Convention Center Proposal Outlined

The results of a five-month study and analysis for a proposed Tunica Convention Center and hotel have been outlined in a public presentation made by PricewaterhouseCooper LLP recently. While there appears to be a lot of support for the development, challenges and financing are a combination that will not make for an easy decision when it goes before the County Board of Supervisors. ... We heard that PRICE WATERHOUSE COOPERS would unveil a study to Tunica County execs that we predict will recommend a convention center on Highway 61 of more than 200,000 square feet at a cost up to an estimated $40 million.
