Women gives birth in casino

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: "A city woman left a casino Saturday with the biggest jackpot of all — a newborn baby boy.

"Nyree Thompson, 32, was playing the penny slots at about 9:30 a.m. at Resorts Atlantic City when, she said, she felt labor pains that she at first mistook for gas pains.

"Thompson, who said she was eight months pregnant, said that after going to the restroom multiple times, she told a security guard that she might be giving birth.

"But the guard thought she was joking, she said. It wasn't until after her water broke that security officers tended to her, she said.

"…Soon after, Qualeem, a boy weighing less than 5 pounds, was born…"
