WinStar World introduces 'Weekends After Dark'5 April 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- The summer season at WinStar World Casino and Resort is just around the corner. Casino officials announced a series of Weekends After Dark pool parties to be held at the casino's resort-style hotel pool. Weekend pool parties will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight beginning Friday, 5 May and Saturday, 6 May. After that, parties will be held each Friday and Saturday with the exception of special three-night celebrations during Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends. WinStar's entertainment manager, Stephanie Callaway, said this is the third consecutive year for the pool parties and patrons have started looking forward to the beginning of WinStar's pool season. "One weekend a month the pool area is transformed into an amazing themed night, much like what someone would experience at a Caribbean or Mexican resort," Callaway said. "Our first pool party will be a Cinco De Mayo theme and will be held on 5 and 6 May. It's going to be a very colorful party with entertainment, themed food and drinks. It will be a perfect weekend for WinStar patrons to check out the very popular resort pool and experience WinStar's night life without the cost of a beach vacation or having to go far from home." Callaway said the pool bar will be open for guests to purchase drinks and complimentary food will be provided. There will also be a live DJ, dancers and flair bartenders. The party themes go along with a holiday or complement an event happening at WinStar. In addition to Cinco De Mayo, June 16 and 17 will be '80s night; 30 June through 2 July will be a stars and stripes theme; 11 and 12 August safari night and 1 through 3 September will be Cowboy Up, which will be held the same weekend as the Professional Bull Riders event WinStar hosts every year. The pool parties are free to enter, but visitors must be a WinStar Hotel guest and at least 21 years old to attend. The resort pool offers a number of other features including two lavish spas, six private cabanas available for rent, a fire pit and a pool bar. The resort pool officially opens 15 April and WinStar Hotel guests of all ages are welcome to visit the resort pool during the normal hours of operation - 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. |
