WinStar World brings back 'Weekends After Dark' pool parties29 April 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Officials at WinStar World Casino and Resort have announced a series of Weekends After Dark pool parties to be held at the casino's elegant, resort-style hotel pool. Weekend pool parties will be held from 9 p.m. to midnight beginning Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7. After that, parties will be held each Friday and Saturday through Labor Day weekend. WinStar entertainment manager Stephanie Callaway said the parties will be bigger and better than last year. "We started Weekends After Dark pool parties in 2015," Callaway said. "The parties became such a hit we knew guests would come back wanting more. WinStar has an amazing resort-style pool for a perfect summer get-away. It gives us the opportunity to create an unforgettable event for guests." Callaway said the pool bar will be open for guests to purchase drinks and complementary food will be provided. In addition, there will be a live DJ, dancers and bartenders. In addition, one weekend each month the pool area will be transformed into an amazing themed night. The theme for May 6 and 7 will be Cinco de Mayo. Guests will enjoy vibrantly colored decorations and dancers inspired by the Mexican holiday. Themed food and drinks will be served. "We try to make the party theme go along with the holiday or compliment an event happening at WinStar," said Callaway. "In June there will be a black-and-white theme; July we will have a patriotic party; Disco After Dark will be the August theme; and September will be Cowboy Up, which will be held the same weekend as the Professional Bull Riders event WinStar hosts every year." The parties are free to enter but visitors must be a WinStar Hotel guest and 21 and older to attend. Visitors will be required to show their hotel room card and ID to enter the party. |
