Tropicana AC aims to heat up your winter19 January 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Looking for a reason to come out of winter hibernation? Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort is bringing MORE excitement to your social calendar with headline entertainment, a winter wine festival and much more! Winter Entertainment at Tropicana February 12 - Aaron Lewis: After making his mark in the world of hard rock as the lead vocalist of Staind, Aaron Lewis ventured into country music in 2001 with his debut solo EP Town Line. Highlighted by the success of gold-selling single “Country Boy,” the seven-song EP reached #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and #7 on the Billboard Top 200 upon release. The multi-platinum singer, songwriter and guitarist will take the stage in the Tropicana Showroom at 9 p.m. Tickets are $55, $60 and $70. February 13 – O.A.R.: O.A.R., which is short for “Of a Revolution,” is renowned for intense and vibrant live shows that create a communal feeling with fans. The band has twice sold out shows in Madison Square Garden. As part of the band’s, “You Pick the Set Tour,” O.A.R.’s stop at Tropicana promises to be just as electrifying. February 14- Valentine’s Soul Jam with The Stylistics: Add some sweet, soulful melodies to your Valentine’s Day with The Stylistics, Dramatics, New Birth & Bloodstone. Tickets are $55, $65 and $125. February 20 - Chaka Khan: During her 40-year career, Chaka Khan has released 22 albums and racked up ten #1 Billboard magazine charted songs, eight singles certified gold and eleven certified gold and platinum albums. This February, ten-time Grammy Award winner Chaka Khan will bring her powerful voice, stage presence and collection of hits to Tropicana. Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets are $55, $60 and $65. February 27 - 38 SPECIAL: After more than three decades together, the members of 38 SPECIAL continue to bring their signature blast of Southern Rock to more than one hundred cities a year. And at each and every show, thousands of audience members are amazed by the explosive power of the band's performance. Their many gold and platinum album awards stand in testament to the endurance of a legendary powerhouse. 38 SPECIAL will take the Tropicana Showroom stage at 8 p.m. Tickets are $45, $55 and $65. March 4 - Lou Neglia’s Ring of Combat 54 Championship Mixed Martial Arts: Ring of Combat 54 is an exciting card with four Championship fights. Ring of Combat has sent 100 fighters to the UFC, most recently sending ROC Welterweight Champion Randy Brown, who makes his UFC debut on January 30. Aside from the Championship fights, this event features an exciting undercard with some of the best upcoming MMA fighters. The event begins at 8:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $52 to $127. March 5 - Dom Irrera with Special Guest Big Daddy Graham: Dom Irrera, one of the all-time comedy greats, is coming to Atlantic City for one hilarious show in the Tropicana Showroom. Nominated six times for an American Comedy Award, Dom Irrera’s stand-up material was honed in a multi-generational Italian household in South Philadelphia with his mother, sister, grandmother, uncles and cousins all under one very big roof. Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets are $40, $45 and $55. March 12 – Meat Loaf: This larger-than-life rock icon is known for his operatic sound and impassioned vocals. His 1977 album, Bat Out of Hell, remains one of the best-selling albums in the world to date. He has appeared in over 60 films and television shows including The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Crazy in Alabama, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny, Focus, Formula 1, Fight Club, House, M.D., Masters of Horror, Hallmark’s Citizen Jane, Monk and Glee. Fans will not want to miss the spectacle when Meat Loaf takes stage in the Tropicana Showroom Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $65, $75, $100 and $200. February 27 & 28 Winter Wine Festival: Tropicana Atlantic City will hold its first annual Winter Wine Festival in the Grand Exhibition Center on Saturday, February 27 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 28 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. This festive wine tasting experience features over 150 of New Jersey’s finest wines. While sampling, guests will enjoy live entertainment, food vendors, and artisan crafters of fine jewelry and hand-painted glass. Additionally, wine experts Phillip Silverstone and John Mahoney will host wine seminars for those who are interested. Just can’t get enough of a particular wine? March 11 is The Maxwell Football Club National Awards Gala: This extraordinary event will celebrate the 2015 football season and present the Maxwell Football Club’s National Awards at the Professional, Collegiate and High School levels. Professional football’s most respected athletes, coaches and personalities of both current and former seasons are expected to attend. The formal presentation of the 57th Bert Bell Award (Professional Player of the Year) and the 27th Greasy Neale Award (Professional Coach of the Year) will take place at the Gala.
