Towers Casino Card Room reopens

18 May 2020

The card room at Towers Casino in California is open for business again. Below is a message from the casino's website going into detail about the rules and regulations regarding the reopening.

"We’re following the strictest environmental health guidelines to ensure the safety and welfare of our employees and patrons. Cards are in the air — come out and play Poker or CA Blackjack (ONLY
No slots or other CA/Asian games)

As we reopen, we want you to know that our number one priority is your safety. Steps we are taking include:
  • Rigorous disinfecting, prior to opening, between games and each day upon closing
  • Training of our staff on new mandated cleaning protocols
  • Player reservations to limit the number of people waiting for a seat
  • Stringent sanitizing of chips/cards before and after usage
We will be adhering to environmental health and safety protocols. Some of these include:
  • Smaller numbers of players allowed in the facilities
  • Social distancing measures at the tables
  • Staff members will be wearing face masks or shields. Patrons will be required to wear face masks.
  • There will be no sitting together in common areas to adhere to social distancing
  • There will be no communal food or self serve coffee.
Please be patient as we reopen with these new guidelines. We are excited to start operations again, but want to keep it safe for everyone.

We understand some of you might not be ready to return yet for many reasons (higher risk group, health issues, caring for loved ones, etc.) and we respect your choice to continue to shelter in place. Please respect our choice to re-open with stringent safety procedure in place. Collectively, we feel the time is right to take a step towards normalcy."
