Tourism award for Christchurch Casino

NEW ZEALAND -- Christchurch Casino won the supreme award at the 2010 Tourism Industry Awards yesterday, NZPA reported.

The casino was also honoured for workplace training and it was this progressive workplace training that secured the supreme award, NZPA said.

The casino was commended for encouraging staff to contribute ideas and take initiative, the NZPA report said.
