The Venetian Las Vegas donates to Camp Just One program15 June 2021 The donation is to help cover expenses for the Camp Just One program in Las Vegas. (photo by The Venetian Las Vegas) The six summer camp sessions are for students entering grades 6 through 12, with week-long themes such as medical, entertainment and criminal justice. The program will introduce values around civic engagement, volunteerism, crucial life skills, youth empowerment, teamwork and leadership development. This youth-focused program provides a safe space for youth to learn about preventative health, self-care, building self-esteem, healthy boundaries and relationships, peer influence, communication, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and drug education and abuse prevention. The youth will focus on team building and have opportunities to problem solve during group activities. |
